Hollywood for Gen Xer's who are not Matt Damon or Ben Affleck
16 January 2011 | by calpoetSee all my reviews

This is a very funny film. Steve Moramarco is unabashedly outrageous in telling a story that speaks to a lot of Gen Xer's in Hollywood who went there for the promise of fame and fortune and found instead anonymity and near despair. From his first encounter with the film crew his parents send to his house because his mother wants to get his hard luck story on an Intervention reality program through the intervention itself and its consequences, he puts a very humorous face on his ongoing disasters. I found myself laughing from the Rocky Horror Show inspired opening credits through the unique and unexpected conclusion. Very much worth seeing.
