Ratings: Sleepy Midseason Finale, State of Affairs Tick Up; Castle Ties Low
Leading out of a Gotham repeat (which drew 3 million total viewers and a 1.0 demo rating), the midseason finale of Fox’s Sleepy Hollow did 4.5 mil and a 1.5, up 5 percent and a tenth versus last week.

Over on NBC — and with Dancing With the Stars now out of the way — The Voice (11 mil/2.7) rose 15 percent and a tenth week-to-week, while State of Affairs (7 mil/1.6) was up 20 percent and a tenth.

Ratings: Resurrection, Revenge Hit Series Lows; Mentalist Returns Steady
ABC’s Once Upon a Time returned from its week off to 6.3 million total viewers and a season-low 2.0 demo rating, down 7 and 16 percent from its two-hour outing.

Leading out of that, things got significantly rougher for ABC, with Resurrection (3.6 mil/0.8) and Revenge (4.1 mil/1.0) both dropping 22 and 33 percent to all-time lows.

New Christian Kane Featurette From 50 To 1

In this new featurette, actor Christian Kane talks about his character (Mark Allen) in the upcoming 50 To 1. Based on Mine That Bird, the underdog racehorse that won the 2009 Kentucky Derby, the film opens in theaters March 21, 2014.

Two songs from Kane’s The House Rules (2010) album – “Something’s Gotta’ Give” and “Whiskey in Mind” – are featured in the 50 To 1 soundtrack.

The cast and filmmakers of 50 To 1 will hit the road rock-star style on a cross-country tour beginning March 17 to promote the major motion picture’s release.

Cast members set for the tour are Skeet Ulrich, Christian Kane, Todd Lowe and Hugo Perez.Also on tour will be filmmakers Jim Wilson and Faith Conroy. As a very special treat – the real Mine That Bird will make special appearances along the way.

Skeet Ulrich Stars In Horse Racing Film 50 To 1 About Kentucky Derby’s “Mine That Bird”

Mine That Bird, the underdog racehorse that won the 2009 Kentucky Derby, is the focus of a new Hollywood film 50 To 1 that opens in theaters March 21, 2014.

The news was announced by 50 To 1 director, producer, co-writer and racehorse owner Jim Wilson (Oscar-winning producer of “Dances With Wolves”).

Skeet Ulrich (Jericho, “Scream,” “As Good As It Gets”), Christian Kane (Leverage), William Devane (24, “The Dark Knight Rises”), Todd Lowe (True Blood, Gilmore Girls) and newcomer Madelyn Deutch star in the film alongside real-life jockey Calvin Borel, who plays himself in the picture. Faith Conroy co-wrote the script with Wilson.

The film, which is rooted in New Mexico and shot in over 30 locations throughout the state—from Santa Fe to Las Cruces—will kick off the theatrical release with the world premiere in Albuquerque at the historic KiMo Theatre on March 19th.

‘True Blood’ Season Premiere Recap: Sookie Takes A Stand Against ‘Billith’

Plus, with Bill out of the way, Sookie & Eric are free to get their flirt on. It’s just like old times!

Picking up right where we left off, the June 16 season premiere of True Blood found Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) running like hell from “Billith,” whom Jason (Ryan Kwanten) aptly referred to as a “naked evil Superman.” But is Bill (Stephen Moyer) really the dark, irredeemable vampire god that Truebies have spent all year fearing he would be?

That remains a bit of a mystery.

Upon returning home from the Authority, Bill was able to revert back to his former self — physically, at least — though he discovered a few handy new powers, like telepathy and the ability to make mini-earthquakes.
