I expected a weird movie, promised to a tiny released in theatres. And I was damn right. The tale of a bunch of friends: an undertaker, a coroner physician, the mayor of the small town where all live, and some other guys, who commit murders and "dress" them in accidents in order to collect life indemnity from the victims.
Directing, scenery and actors give the audience a bizarre feeling, hard to follow, and not easy to describe. But it's never corny. I repeat, it's very difficult to resume in a proper way. The audience may feel disappointed with many unanswered questions.
But it's not uninteresting.
American sometimes make such unusual features, see Philip Haas' MUSIC OF CHANCE, for instance.
And that's another comment...
