Ron Moore, David Weddle and Bradley Thompson will be taking part in a Sci Fi Museum panel about "The Writing of BSG" in Seattle on September 5.

Presented in cooperation with Emp Museum, this panel discusses the writing of the award-winning drama. Notable writers/producers David Weddle and Bradley Thompson (Battlestar Galactica, CSI, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Falling Skies) weigh in. -- Bumbershoot, via Battlestar blogFort McCoy with Eric Stoltz will be shown at the Rhode Island International Film Festival on August 11. Caprica season 1.5 DVD gets a UK release date

With Caprica finally back on TV in the UK, season 1.5 also finally has a DVD release date: July 18. You can pre-order the DVD on Amazon.co.uk: Caprica - Season 1, Volume 2 [DVD]

Gun Hill Road with Esai Morales will be shown at the Inside Out Film Festival in Toronto tomorrow (Tuesday, May 24) at 7:15. Details and tickets at InsideOut.ca. Last week, the film was selected to open the Outfest -- it will be screened at the Orpheum Theatre in L.A. on July 7.

Los Americans premieres on Pic.tv in a couple of days. There are a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos on the show's Facebook page.

Bear McCreary has won the Ifmca award for Best Original Score for Television for his work on Human Target. It's his second win in a row. Last year, he nabbed one for Battlestar. Huge congratulations!

Jane Espenson and Drew Z. Greenberg will take part in a panel discussion on TV writing in Los Angeles on March 27. More details here.
