Four young men spend their Saturday night trying to come up with the money to cover up the accidental death of a family member. As the night grows old, the tensions between the four rise and the situation becomes all the more desperate.
At a summer camp for youths, cockey pre-teen calls out the name of mass serial killer "Madman Marz".
Suddenly, counselors are being maimed and slaughtered in various ways by the backwoodsman who has returned when his name was called. documentary.Never saw this movie, Madman, but I just watched this documentary.
The movie supposedly made for a few thousand but somehow they wanted Vincent Price to star in it. There are lots of dependencies in this doc considering the alleged budget. Frankly it sounds to me that this film was financed by the underworld.
Very few people in this film have gone on to other things -- including the director. Odd, no?
Anyway, I suspect the doc is better than the film. Without the original movie as a point of reference I was sort of lost. If you are a fan of the movie, you will likely love this doc.
