The Men Who Killed Kennedy: The Cover-Up (1991)

The 1988 British series THE MEN WHO KILLED KENNEDY originally ran for two episodes but in 1991 it was given a face-lift (probably due to the Oliver Stone film) and expanded to three 50-mintue episodes. If you've seen the original series then you'll notice a lot of the footage here is the same but the added interviews make this worth re-watching.

This first episode takes a look at why the U.S. Government might have wanted to cover up the truth behind the crime. Everyone was told that Lee Harvey Oswald was the guilty person and the only shooter but this first episode explains why that possibly wasn't the case. Through eye-witness testimony and research we learn about a few other possible suspects and what connection they might have had to the Government or the Mafia. Also discussed was a talked about earlier attempt at an assassination the week earlier.

If you're a Kennedy buff then you'll obviously want to watch this special as it expands on an already great episode. There's a lot more talk this time around on possible other suspects and of course the interviews with eye-witnesses is just priceless in this day and age when so many of them are no longer with us.
