From The terrors of the dinosaur train to a trip to the the market with their daredevil soft toy Budge watching their every move. The show received negative reviews before its airtime, however once the show was aired it was receiving positive reviews. Due to the earlier criticism the BBC was not sure if they should renew a second series? A petition went out asking for 2000 signatures and only received 44 votes. It was decided not enough marketing had gone in to signify if a second season would be fisable. The show later gained more popular success with re-runs and international success but unfortunately the cast and crew had moved on and it became a situation of success coming too late to orginize a new series. Australia however attempted to create a similar series with a similar title for the ABC network but was a complete failure. See more »
What on earth is this programme doing on cbbc channel (children's bbc to the uninitiated)? It is so not a kiddies programme. The execution of this brilliant idea is excellent and it is actually funny. I came across it by accident a couple of days ago and could not quite believe my eyes. Real babies with adults heads superimposed interact with one another. It is well written and acted and it amuses me and my wife no end. I don't know whether it will really appeal to children at all. It is good to see someone do something in an original way and in a convincing way. It was a little disconcerting seeing a baby with a beard at first (so surreal) but one quickly gets over that hurdle. Good on the bbc for taking it on but not so good of them to bury it away in the schedules at 15.30 in the afternoon when hardly anyone will bother to watch it because it is a "kids programme". Wrong!! By the way if one uses upper case for bbc IMDb accuse you of shouting. Tossers!
