...And Francis Durbridge's Melissa kicks off.
27 August 2015 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

Melissa calls on Doctor Swanton, and makes it clear she wants a baby, and as such wants a full health check, her manner is rather nasty. The Police start looking closely into Guy, Melissa and friends, their finances etc. Don has tried getting his hands on money, but failed, Melissa wants her money at his upcoming birthday party. Guy returns home and starts writing after he's turned down for further work. Paula's marriage to Graeme is rocky, she seeks comforts elsewhere. Melissa informs Guy it's Don's birthday Party on Saturday Night, Paula and Graeme have invited them. Melissa addresses Guy's rage by booking him in with Doctor Swanton, again she makes unpleasant demands. Melissa confides in Paula that she's scared and wants to run away, she is then devastated when Guy refuses to join her, Paula and Graeme to go to Don's birthday party. When there Melissa receives a note telling her an address to visit at 11pm to discover the true identity of her birth parents. Melissa borrows Paula's coat. Later Guy receives a desperate phone call from Melissa who's in serious danger, informing him he must get to a certain address immediately. When he does so he finds Melissa......

It's now starting to feel like Melissa, we've had two made up episodes, and now the plot starts to come together. I am now watching Francis Durbridge's Melissa, with a few little tweaks. It is very very good.
