When their new next-door neighbors turn out to be a sorority even more debaucherous than the fraternity previously living there, Mac and Kelly team with their former enemy, Teddy, to bring the girls down.
Stepfather Brad Whitaker is hoping for his stepchildren to love him and treat him like a dad. All is going well until the biological father, Dusty Mayron, shows up, then everything takes a toll. His stepchildren start putting him second and their father first, and now Dusty will have to learn that being a good dad is about pains and struggles. Brad will also experience once again what it's like to be a stepdad.
The doctor's name, "Emilio Francisco", comes from two names that Will Ferrell repeated in other movies, "Emilio", from A Night at the Roxbury (1998), and "Francisco", from Elf (2003). See more »
When Brad starts the Indian motorcycle, his left hand is encircling the left grip, and his right hand is pulling back from the instrument cluster near the tank. The start switch is on the right handlebar, above the throttle grip, and would be depressed by the right thumb to start . It is obvious that the sound of the bike starting is just a sound effect. Here's a question for you. What do kids need more, a father or a dad? What's the difference? The way I see it, darn near anyone can be a father...

... but not everyone has the patience or the devotion to be a dad. As for me, I've always wanted to be a dad. Let me tell you, I love it! Yeah!
And I love my Ford Flex. It treats me to a smooth ride, and you know what? It didn't break the bank. Room enough for the whole family.

Its a usual Will Ferrell movie that has laughs at only when he is at his usual outburst. Mark Wahlberg adds up to the support and behaves same as he did in 'The Other Guys' , which also had Ferrell. The kids are irritating . Actress doesnot have much to do apart from looking beautiful , which she definitely is. Mark and Will have a good chemistry. Ending is not upto the mark. Will's Boss also has a laughable role (not pun-intended) in the movie. Character for the black Guy is funny. The scene at Basketball stadium had me in splits due to Ferrell's outburst. :) Overall: A one time watch which if you need few Ferrell Laughs.
