Since leaving SNL, Sudeikis has mostly stayed in the film space, starring in titles like Horrible Bosses and Colossal. Variety has learned that Apple TV Plus has given a series order to “Ted Lasso,” on which Sudeikis will star in addition to writing and executive producing. In the series, Sudeikis plays Lasso, an idealistic all-American football coach hired to manage an English football club despite having no soccer coaching experience at all. Jennifer Aniston on How Me Too (and Matt Lauer) Influenced ‘The Morning Show’
It’s been 15 years since Jennifer Aniston signed off as Rachel Green on “Friends.” In that time, she’s received plenty of other offers to star in a TV show, but she hadn’t been tempted by any of them. “I was doing so many films at the time,” Aniston says on a recent afternoon, sitting in the living room of her Bel-Air mansion, as her two dogs — Clyde and Sophie — scamper around her. “So I never thought, ‘Oh I’m nostalgic.’” And she didn’t think anything could compare with the professional experience of “Friends” anyway. “If I was going to go back anywhere, that’s where I would want to go. Meaning in my mind.”

Next month, Aniston returns to the medium that made her into a household name and an international star (with box-office hits such as 2011’s “Horrible Bosses” and 2013’s “We’re the Millers”). In

From Rom-Coms to Dramas: All the Places You Can Still Watch Meghan Markle's Movies
Now don't get me wrong, I am absolutely obsessed with Meghan Markle's new life as a royal and her fairy-tale romance with Prince Harry, but every now and then, I find myself wondering what her life was like before she became the Duchess of Sussex. What books did she read? What were her favorite vacation spots? More specifically, what was she like as an actress? Before Meghan found love with Harry and moved across the pond, she starred in a whopping seven seasons of the USA legal drama series Suits, and she was damn good. How do I know this? Because I watched all seven seasons after I found out they were on Amazon Prime, of course. Still, this isn't the only thing Markle has appeared in. In addition to Suits, the royal starred in a couple Hallmark films of her own and made a handful of cameos in some pretty big movies.

This first trailer showcases Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses) as Jim Hoffman, the man who helped bring down John DeLorean, played by Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy).

The trailer kicks off by setting up the friendship between John DeLorean and the character played by Jason Sudeikis. We also get a glimpse of how the world views the auto industry titan, which is in very high esteem. The two pair up to try and get the DeLorean Motor Company off the ground and it all seems like a scrappy success story,

‘Little’ Review: Marsai Martin’s Big Performance Almost Saves a Very Stunted Comedy

The word on Tina Gordon’s “Little,” a slapdash modern inversion of “Big,” is that “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin came up with the idea for the movie when she was only 10 years old, and became the youngest executive producer in Hollywood history when the thing actually went into production a few years later. That’s a nice bit of trivia, but “the hacky premise for this studio comedy was pitched by the child star of a network sitcom” may not be the strongest hook for a PG-13 comedy that’s aimed at adults (though also still appropriate for older kids). If anything, it sounded like a chintzy excuse to soft-pedal another lazy remake at a time when audiences are desperate for original fare that rewards their decision to leave Netflix at home for the night.

And maybe it was. The finished product won’t exactly disabuse you of your most
