Storyline

NYC, Central Park, 2010. Five young teenagers are violently assaulted. But they're not your average teenagers - they're prodigies. The trauma of the assault incites them to lash out against the world in a cold and calculating way. The five chillingly brilliant minds come together to concoct a perfect revenge. The only person aware of the pending doom is Jimbo Farrar, a sixth prodigy, who has gathered them. As long as he fights against his five counterparts with all his might, there's hope for the world. But should he turns over to their side, it's only a matter of time before a disaster of apocalyptic proportions ensues. Written by George Price

Sometimes better not to trust the movie ratings....
8 February 2013 | by rogermorseSee all my reviews

I normally write reviews only when I don't agree with the average rating of the movie. 5.8 is definitely not enough for this movie. The CG style has its own characters. It reminds me a bit the game 'Runaway' on PC from Pendulo Studios developers.

This is a movie with a story, a good stylish CG and very entertaining in general. Artistically, it has also its moments. Only thing, I didn't find the 3D quality to be that good: the depth is subtle, nothing coming off the screen or going really deep in.

Well, I didn't regret renting the bluray, and I don't regret myself giving it 7,5 stars.

But of course: for those people who seek special effects, explosions, perfectly rendered animations and bad-ass rambo shooters....well this isn't the movie for you.
