Howard Johns (historian), Marilyn Henry (author), A.C. Lyles (producer), Jay Bernstein (agent), Roy Mosely (author) and Lee Weigel (police chief) are interviewed about the tragic life of Alan Ladd.
We start off hearing a quick bio on Ladd and how he ended up in Hollywood. The main meat of the story comes from his marriage to a woman who pretty much took control of his life and picking what roles in Hollywood he would do. We then hear about Ladd turning into an alcoholic and how a possible suicide attempt should have foreshadowed what was to follow. Ladd is certainly a forgotten name but this episode does a nice job at talking about the great stuff he did but of course the main focus is going to be on his demons. The interviews are extremely good and give you great detail about what was going on in Ladd's life. If you're a fan of the series then you'll certainly be entertained.
