When Rebecca's friend is trying on the wedding dress, a pair of sunglasses appears out of nowhere. Rebecca plays with them in her hands. They go from her hands to her head, back to her hands, and disappear.
At the Successful Savings office, Luke says he wants Rebecca to go to the "APA conference." Rebecca asks Hayley what the APA conference is. The camera moves to Luke. When it moves back to Rebecca, Hayley is gone.
At Rebecca's first meeting at Successful Savings, she pulls out a small notebook and lays a pencil to the left of it. In the next shot, as she pulls out a small pencil sharpener, the pencil is on the opposite side of the notebook.
While Rebecca is in the interview at Successful Savings, the desk behind her is alternately occupied and empty between shots. In one shot, Hayley talking on the phone, with the green scarf on her lap. In the next shot, she is gone. In the next shot, she is at the door, giving Rebecca her scarf.
When Rebecca takes the green scarf to the counter, the cashier says "That's $120." Rebecca gives her $50 cash, charges $30 on one card, $10 on another card, and tries to put $20 on a different card which is declined. She got the $20 in cash, but the grand total is $110. She tried 2 more blue cards before the golden card was declined. It's very likely at least one of them was charged the missing $10.
The bridesmaid dress has sleeves at the beginning of the movie, and is sleeveless by the end. When Rebecca first tried on the dress, it was in the middle of alterations. Enough time passed for the alterations to be completed.
When Rebecca goes to Alette to retrieve the envelope that she mailed, she rapidly presses the elevator button, and it appears she is trying to go to the 20th floor. The floor numbers are listed on their respective buttons, and she is pressing the 17th floor button, but her hand is covering the number.
When Suze and Rebecca are going over credit card statements, Suze asks Rebecca how she will pay off "16 thousand, TWELVE hundred, 62 dollars, and 72 cents" without a job. Both women are very drunk, so she is probably too drunk to read the number correctly.
Rebecca hides the scarf once she knows who her interviewer is, which results in Luke knowing that she was lying about the necessity of the scarf. But hiding her scarf was not actually needed; Luke had never seen it before and had no reason to believe that this was the very scarf she the needed money for.
The goof items below may give away important plot points.
Crew or equipment visible
When Rebecca first throws the block of ice to free her credit card, the block falls from the stove to the floor. As the camera follows it, a crew member in black jeans and tennis shoes is visible, kneeling down.
Derek Smeath violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act at least 4 times: calling Rebecca at work, refusing to leave her job when asked by the receptionist, telling his colleague to threaten her with public humiliation, and his entire diatribe during the television show. However, many *real* debt collectors ignore FDCPA, since it's not enforceable if no one complains, and many debt collectors assume that most debtors don't know about it.
