Quotes

Murray: Okay, it looks weird. Um, Bret, you look quite small. It looks sort of like trick photography.
Jemaine: It's Bret's fault.
Murray: It's like Lord of the Rings. Jemaine, you look like an ogre that works in the library.

Bret, you got it going on...

Flight of the Conchords sort of changed its pace after episode five, mainly due to new directors on staff. 'Bowie', the first episode of what I consider the second half of the season, is probably the weakest, or among the weakest, in the entire season, and a lot of people gave up on the series after it. Don't do that - the latter episodes have a bit of a different atmosphere, but there are some great ones there. 'Bowie' too, while it's not quite one of the best, has some fantastic moments, and some great acting from Bret especially. 'Bret You Got It Going On' is a hilarious musical number. 'Bowie's in Space' is the kind of song that works better in live performances, as it was really just tacked on to the end of the episode in a pretty unconvincing manner. Not a great episode really but worth a watch.
