I'm not crying
9 June 2008 | by itamarscomixSee all my reviews

The first episode of FOTC is one of the best in the season. Although the humor is still pretty undeveloped and the plot is barely existent, Jemaine and Bret are in top form, and the episode contains three of their best musical numbers - I'm Not Crying, The Distant Future (Robots) and The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room) - all of which also have fantastic video segments. Jemaine's body language during I'm Not Crying is unbelievably funny, funnier than anything he actually says in the episode. Mel, Dave and Murray are all introduced for the first time, and Rachel Blanchard is gorgeous as Sally, although her character will be stronger in episode 5.

All in all, a great start to a great series.
