Storyline

SG-1 blows up three transport ships in a row; Netan puts a price on their heads. General Landry grants the team members spare time on Earth. Daniel spends it researching in a library, where he meets a bounty hunter who tries to seduce him, then switches to her handgun... but is taken out by a bus. Sam gives a lecture on Air Force technological progress together with Dr. Bill Lee; a sniper nearly misses, but is taken out with an experimental weapon they'd brought along to demonstrate. Quotes

Wendy Mitchell: It's all right dear, I'm not as old fashioned as you think.
Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell: What?
Wendy Mitchell: [to Vala] You know, I think Cam sometimes finds it convenient to forget that I grew up in the sixties. I could tell you some stories.
Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell: No, Mom! No, please! No! We don't wanna hear your stories.
Vala Mal Doran: I do.

Spendidly funny and entertaining episode
7 February 2007 | by DVD_ConnoisseurSee all my reviews

"Bounty" starts with an explosive introduction and keeps the momentum going 'til the end credits. One of the more light-hearted episodes, the tale has more than its fair share of memorable moments. Claudia Black's ability to deliver kooky comedy cannot be overstated. Vala's truly cringe-worthy comments to Cam's parents are jaw-dropping but highly amusing. Ben Browder also delivers an excellent performance when he meets his high-school dream girl at the reunion party. The two stars steal the show in this above-average episode.

Hot blooded sci-fi femme fatale fans will note that beautiful Jody Thompson plays a bounty hunter to die for. In fact, if Ms Thompson wanted to arrest me, it would be fair to say I wouldn't put up too much resistance. Delightful.

Providing a welcome change of pace at this point in the 10th season, I enjoyed "Bounty" a lot!
