Storyline

After Kevin wants to know what his father does at work, Jack brings Kevin with him to NORCOM (Jack's employer), and Kevin learns more by spending the day in his father's office. After witnessing severe disciplinary action from Jack's boss over the incompetence of Jack's subordinates, Kevin realizes why his father returns home from work in a nasty mood most of the time..

Goofs

(at around 15 mins) The evening radio broadcast said that the Tigers beat the Yankees, 5 to 4. This game would have to have been June 1, 1968.

When Jack Arnold complains, "I can't believe they lost to the Senators," the "they" would have referred to the Cleveland Indians, who lost to Washington that day, 6 to 2.

However, the radio broadcast also said the AL President Joe Cronin dismissed two umpires, Bill Valentine and Al Salerno. This dismissal happened September 16, 1968. Washington Senators did not play that day. See more »

This, quite simply, is a brilliant episode of a brilliant show, that sees Kevin learn more about his Dad.

Beautifully written and performed.
