Following the sinking of a freighter ship and the death of an underwater cameraman, Straker and Foster take the submarine 'Skydiver' to examine the ocean bed. They come across a vast domed building and, from a distance, think they see SHADO Lieutenant Anderson in the dome. Back at headquarters Straker interviews Anderson, who claims to know nothing of the dome. It is part of an alien plot to create doubles of the SHADO staff - including Straker - to by-pass SHADO security systems. The dome has to be destroyed with its occupants.Written by

The opening titles for this episode are unique. First, during the UFO title rather than a freeze-frame there is motion during. Then, over the credits, there are scenes from the show as in other previous Gerry Anderson shows. This is the only UFO episode to feature this. See more »

Gerry Anderson created a fantastic world about an uncover agency to struggles against Aliens, but in that time didn't allowed graphic computer to help and they were forced to use a large set miniatures meticulously well done, even so is enjoyable series with several new elements which enrich the work itself ,the costumes are advanced, pretty girls working in leading roles, anyway the best of this time,in the episode Straker has to know where the new Alien hideout in middle of the Atlantic ocean..a dome near the volcano!!!
