The rains came.
27 May 2016 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

You may believe or not in this story of a man who asks for rain and who also asks for money so that the rain comes. As I have already said about the previous episodes I commented today, I don't know if the Charley's character actually existed. In deep America, during the thirties or forties, who knows? I would not be surprised that this story really was true. I thought a little about ELMER GENTRY in this episode, with Burt Lancaster in the lead role. I spent a very good time watching this tale. If this case existed, I guess there was at least a film made about it. Unusual and not so predictable scheme. Directed by the Hollywood vet director Erle C Kenton.
