Storyline

Kramer gets new license plates, but a DMV screw-up gives him a new vanity license plate - "ASSMAN". George's mom gets plastic surgery. Kramer makes pasta sculptures of his friends, and makes one out of Jerry using Fusilli pasta. Jerry tells Puddy about his "move", which he proceeds to use on Elaine. He also tells George, but George screws it up, and his girlfriend gets freaked out when he uses crib notes. Kramer finally tracks down the Ass Man when Frank falls on the Fusilli Jerry and they have to take him to a proctologist. Written by halo1k

Goofs

When Kramer goes to the motor vehicle place to get his new plates,he gets them & takes the Assman plate out of the envelope. Even though he got the wrong plates, in the state of New York, you need two plates on your car. One for the front & back of your car.

Kramer did get two plates at the DMV. You can see that no light is showing through some of the screw holes. See more »

Quotes

George Costanza: [about mechanics] Well of course they're trying to screw you! What do you think? That's what they do. They can make up anything; nobody knows! "Why, well you need a new johnson rod in here." Oh, a Johnson rod. Yeah, well better put one of those on!

Season 6, Episode 20, "The Fusilli Jerry"

Much like episode 19 and the entirety of the latter season 6, "The Fusilli Jerry" relies too much on gags and too little on good writing, which was the staple of seasons 4 and 5, but it's so funny that it's impossible not to love it. Once again, none of the leads are at their best; Kramer, in fact, is shockingly sane and nowhere near as funny as he can be, even in the latter seasons. Elaine and George both have their moments though. And the ones who really make the episode are Estelle Harris and Jerry Stiller, both outrageously hilarious as George's parents. Almost as importantly, the episode features the first appearance of Patrick Warburton as David Puddy, the closest thing the series had to a steady romantic interest other than the infamous Susan Ross. His character is surprisingly normal though, and will become much more over-the-top later on.
