Having gone to the aid of mystery blonde, Reb Denning, the Saint finds a dying man who tells him, "stop them...Friday night." He's soon captured by crooked casino owner, Brett Sunley who claims he's stolen £100,000 from the casino. Templar manages to escape and tracks down Reb Denning, who tells him a fantastic story of spies, and asks Simon's hep in bringing down Sunley.

When Templar and Denning flee the warehouse, having knocked out Sunley, Falconi and the others, Denning gets into the driver's seat of Templar's car and he the passenger seat.
