Another 10/10 As The Season Draws To A Close
31 October 2014 | by slightlymad22See all my reviews

Another great episode of "Married With Children" in season five.

Plot In A Paragraph: After getting a map to a gold mine, Al, Peggy, Kelly and Bud along with Mary and Jefferson go I search of gold looking to get rich. Initially they do well, but then "Gold Fever" takes a grip of the group and they all turn on each other.

Unlike the previous two part episode "You Better Shop Around" the second episode of "Route 666" is the better of the two. All the cast are superb, Ed O'Neil is hilarious as Al Bundy, Katey Sagal is fun as Peggy, The gorgeous Christina Applegate and David Faustino are great as Kelly and Bud, while Amanda Bearse and Ted McGinley get a decent amount of screen time as Marcy and Jefferson. I've got to say I do like Ted McGinley, I think he is a valued member of the cast, and he has decent chemistry with Bearse too.

Season 5 of Married With Children is the show at the height of it's greatness.
