Harriet Oleson: [sensing Mr. Montague's dissatisfaction with the room he was offered at the Olesons' hotel] Well, is... is something wrong?
Sherwood Montague: Mrs. Oleson, when I request a hotel's best accommodations - and I usually do - it is generally assumed that I am talking about a suite.

Bitter Sweet
30 November 2013 | by mitchrmpSee all my reviews

This is the final episode of Little House on the Prairie. Three movies were later made featuring some of the regular cast, but this definitely marks the last episode of the beloved show.

In this episode, we meet Mr. Montigue. He is a famous author and rather...strange. He thinks he's perfect and really doesn't mind hurting other's feelings. Telling the truth is always his belief, no matter what. He will appear in a couple of the made-for-TV movies.

Willie is now happily married and still blissful. They are obviously in their honeymoon stage. The scene in the bedroom is probably the most explicit scene leading to sex in the entire nine seasons of the show!

Another man is also on the stage. He's Matthew Rogers' father. Isaiah wants to hate him, but as he hears the story and as he watches Matthew read his mother's Bible, Isaiah knows there's only one choice that can be made.

We will no longer see Harriet Oleson. She does not return in the movies. I believe Willie is in the last movie.

Farewell, our beloved characters! Until I watch you again.
