Did You Know?

In the scene where Dodds (Warren Donnelly) enters the outside container, you can see "Del Boy" graffitied onto the wall. Clearly a BBC nod to Only Fools and Horses (1981) however this was subsequently set 8 years prior to the UK knowing who Del Boy existed. See more »

At around 32m the words 'Del Boy' appear clearly visible inside the doorway of the portakabin where the decoy leaves the guns. 'Del Boy' is a character from the TV comedy series 'Only Fools and Horses' which did not reach the small screen until 1981. See more »

Gene Hunt: [to Ted Bannister] Say goodnight, Gracie, and sit down. I said sit down!
Ted Bannister: Look. You've gotta open the mill. We can't afford to lose this order.
Gene Hunt: The mill stays shut until our inquiry is over.
Ted Bannister: [shouting] For god's sakes!
Gene Hunt: [shouting] SIT DOWN, OR I'LL SIT YOU DOWN! NOW!

Hunt and Tyler hit the streets
13 July 2017 | by studioATSee all my reviews

This is another good episode of this top notch show that brings the essence of 'The Sweeney' back to life on TV.

It just works, it's not hard to see why. The chemistry between Glenister and Simm is fantastic, there's great humour and music, and actually it's 'who done it?' nature works well too.

The time travel aspect has been reduced in importance slightly, as we can't have every episode be about Sam hating 70's life, but it strikes the right balance of both worlds.

Another good episode.
