Storyline

Lorelai and Rory are fresh back from Atlantic City, where they had a late celebration of Rory's 21st birthday. Lorelai surprises herself when she finds the perfect wedding dress in the first shop she looks in, and finishes planning the wedding in no time. Back at Yale, Rory moves into Paris and Doyle's run-down apartment and rejoins the Daily News. Lane is distressed after her break-up with Zach and takes it out on her mother. Luke meets up with Anna, the mother of his twelve-year-old daughter. Written by Peter Brandt Nielsen

Trivia

Luke's ex-girlfriend Anna is played by Sherilyn Fenn, who was originally cast to play Jess' step-mom in his own spin-off series, Windward Circle. The spin-off never went into production and Fenn was re-cast as Luke's former love interest, because creator Amy Sherman-Palladino really wanted to work with her. See more »

Goofs

Rory gets in her car and starts to drive away, but when a close up is shot of the side of the car it is clearly not Rory driving. A man's hairy arm with a Hawaiian shirt and gold watch is shown steering the car out of the driveway. See more »
