Trivia

The fictitious 'The San Juan Times' has interesting stories like 'Face-Lifting Job to Start on City Hall' or 'Restricted Load Ban Modified on Main Roads'. It doesn't seem to be the kind of paper that would put 'Sabrina Lewis Rescued by Nun' as its main headline. See more »

Sisters Bertrille and Sixto spot actress Sabrina Lewis (Patricia Barry) shedding a disguise as she gets on Carlos' yacht. She is escaping from her producer "HH" Harold Harmon (Gavin MacLeod, "The Love Boat", "The Mary Tyler Moore Show") and also her show business-minded fiancee Spencer Michaels (Anthony Eisley) over another woman. When she finds Spencer on the yacht she jumps off and Sister Bertrille flies in to rescue her. Sabrina faints when she sees The Flying Nun and recovers at the convent. Sabrina, disgusted by her life, shocks everyone when she decides to stay on as a nun. HH threatens to sue her and the sisters try to keep out process servers posing as tourists and priests. When a real priest, Father Duffy (character actor Alan Mowbray in his final performance) arrives he is mistaken as a process server and comically antagonized. Reverend Mother Placido helps Sabrina clarify her decision.
