  • Tom realizes his job was won by his flippant boss Ed Ferrara's sympathy, and eagerly cultivates their male bonding by playing boyish frat games at the office, accepting and usually winning Ed's ludicrous dares. Lynette fails to see boys will be boys and is determined to 'save' Tom from humiliation against his will... Even Bree's anger at Maxine Bennett, who outshines her at dinner parties nobody can prepare alone, is more then satisfied when the FBI bursts in to arrest her as 'slave-owner' of Xiao Mei, an illegal Chinese immigrant. When Carlos offers their spare room to help her till repatriation as a favor to Father Crowley, Gabrielle is first undignified, becomes very attached to the surprisingly able cook and housekeeper, and won't stop till she has the ideal maid in permanent, paid residency... . When his love for a jealous gay partner prevails, Karl makes Susan an ideal offer: re-marry her to repay their easy divorce, without telling Edie... Bree calls Danielle pretty but stupid for suggesting just to ask Betty for the Applewhites secret, instead sneaks into their house bearing a fruitcake to meet half-wit Caleb, who in a chillingly openhearted conversation about his violent past scares and satisfies Bree... His new nurse Felicia Tilman slips the dying Noah Taylor an anonymous note that he has a living grandson, so he sends the corrupt detective Sullivan to threaten Zach Young's real father Mike to spill all the information he knows about the Young family...
