Goofs

While searching for a suspect's parking tickets, Baricza discovers that Grossman had received a parking ticket at the beach on a day he called in sick. Grossman's parking ticket was issued at Malibu Beach, yet the three officers are only searching through LAPD parking ticket issued within Los Angeles city limits. Although Malibu is now an incorporated city, at the time of this episode (1980), Malibu was an unincorporated part of Los Angeles County, meaning that the L.A. County Sheriff's Department was responsible for all law-enforcement in Malibu, including issuing parking citations. See more »
