Steed and Mrs Peel must find out why an early warning radar is failing. Emma joins the staff of The Sir Horace Winslip Hospital for Ailing Railwaymen - while Steed has lunch with Sir Horace himself aboard his private, indoor train.
Did You Know?
An establishing shot for the early warning station shows three very large white geodesic spheres. Those are the radomes at the RAF Flyingdales station. These fiberglass spheres protected radar antennae from the weather without blocking radio waves. At the time this episode was made, the massive radomes were new and shockingly high-tech. See more
The display on the wall showing the radar outage area is the same as the clock on the operating room wall minus the hands, but the spindle is still seen in the middle. See more

I wouldn't travel any other way, would you? Can't possibly enjoy a meal any other way. Brought up on trains, you know. My father made all his money out of trains. And now, if I attempt to eat a meal without the gentle rocking and the scenery flashing by, I get the most dreadful indigestion.
