Every time we see a bullet fired from modern guns fly through the air, it has 3 shallow grooves in it. Most modern firearms have 5-6 sets of lands and grooves, depending on the manufacturer. The Heckler & Koch that Wesley uses for most of the film has 6 sets of hexagonal lands and grooves, whereas the Beretta that Sloan uses to show Wesley how to "curve the bullet" has 5 sets. The Olympic Arms Matchmaster that Fox uses also has 6 sets, and would definitely "score" the bullet accordingly, therefore making the "Goodbye" on her last bullet impossible to read. See more »

It's my anorexic boss' birthday. This means there's a certain amount of inter-office pressure to stand around the conference table, eating crappy food and pretending to worship her. Acting for five minutes like Janice doesn't make all our lives miserable is the hardest work I'll do all day. My job title is account manager. Alternate Versions
The Australian theatrical version cut a 10 second sequence where Wesley jams a gun through a dead man's mouth and uses his body as a shield while he shoots down other gunmen. This version was rated MA15+. Oddly enough, when the DVD came out, it had a sticker on the cover touting the film as "Uncut". While this was true -- and the violence in the gunfight had been re-instated -- the DVD carried the same MA15+ rating. See more »
For the first half hour Wanted felt like a trailer.Adapted from a graphic novel the film never seems to settle, the actors seem ill at ease with the material and the impatience on the directors part leaves us with a messy hackneyed film of action set pieces and sci fi mumbo jumbo inbetween. The film tries far too hard to be cool which is a shame because im sure it could have been a better film if things would have just been done with a little less haste.James McAvoy,so convincing in Last King Of Scotland is hard to like in this role.Morgan Freeman seems totally non interested but to be fair hes given virtually nothing to do and just serves as filler between action scenes.Angelina Jolie is the real star of this film, she has astounding presence as an actress and suits the action genre, its just a shame we cant find a truly memorable action film for her to star in.In summary Wanted is a fast paced but legless action film that promises much but delivers very little. It leaves you wanting.
