Trivia

This video game is actually the final installment of the traditional Harry Potter role-playing games of the early noughties. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and it's prequel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, like this one, follow their own canon separate from the book and it's film adaptions. The characters have models based on their book descriptions and Hogwarts layout appears very much to be an original interpretation. Starting with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the video games based itself entirely on the film canon, removing spell challenges, chests, inventories etc. See more »

Goofs

Throwing Dungbombs at certain characters occasionally causes them to either say dialogue belonging to other characters or that was removed from the game. For example, throwing Dungbombs at Snape causes him to start saying Sir Cadogan's dialogue. Throwing Dungbombs at Parvati Patil causes her to talk about owl racing which she won't say if you talk to her via normal means. These are not "Easter Eggs," it is in fact a glitch in the game. I played this game once and hated it. The only good thing about it was Stephen fry's voice over. Everything else poor very poor. My advice to you would be not to play this game unless you are a Stephen fry fan or a 6- 9 year old kid. Though now-a-days kids get bored very easily so I suggest you don't bother at all and also the graphics leave something to be desired they are not worth the money I spent on them. In fact I sent the game back because it was so poorly planned out and designed sorry If I have offended you in any way with these comments but I feel I must forewarn you of the poor quality of this game love peace and stephen fry
