"Reign In Blood"

At last, after nearly twenty years of waiting the worlds best speed metal band have finally delivered the goods. This is truly one of the best live performances by a band i have seen. It is just raw energy from the start (but hey what else would expect from a Slayer gig). This is Slayers second live performance film and is far better than the 1995 Live Intrusion. I have the dvd version which offers a larger insight into Slayer and has great interaction with the fans as they voice loudly their views on the Gods of Speed Metal. Also the great thing about this is the quotes of admiration from some of their music industry collegues i.e. Scott "NOT" Ian of Anthrax, Kirk Hammett of Metallica to name but a few. For a band who hardly do any promotional material they have captured the whole essence of this show from start to finish. In my view this will rank along side the great other live performances "Iron Maiden - Live After Death" "Def Leppard - In The Round, In Your Face" and "Queensryche - Operation:Livecrime" and 1 or 2 others. I highly recommend this to any Metal fan out there!

"Truly Awesome"
