The film went in production in the spring of 1942 and was launched amid a spectacular publicity campaign as it was to be directed by the famous actor Osvaldo Valenti on location in Lybia, then occupied by Fascist Italy. All the outdoors scenes were shot and the cast and crew came back to Italy to shoot the remaining scenes in studio but the war interrupted the production. It was never resumed. See more »
