Storyline

This film is a cinematic portrait of the passionate and nostalgic poet from Alexandria, Constantino Cavafis, as told by its translator from Greek into the Spanish language, the Mexican poet Cayetano Cantú, who recently passed away and who is the main character of this film. The atmosphere of the film is based on the intimate environment of the house of the translator, who is also a collector of antiques amd a great admirer of the poet.
