This was a contest composed by three parts. In the first part, there were three couples composed by a male and a female that had to give the highest amount of answers to the questions they were given. The more answers they gave in 45 seconds, the highest amount of money they earned. Each couple was given three questions. When they gave a wrong answer, or repeated any of the previosly given ones, the miserlies, who hated to see the contestants win money, rang a bell and made them stop answering. The couple with the highest amount of money returned the next week, and the other two went on to the next part of the contest, wich was a test. The winning couple went on to the best part of the program, which was a show of music, humour and surprises. When each performance was finished, an object related to it was taken to a table. Each object had a card with a prize. The host read a part of the card and the couple had to figure out the rest. When there were three objects on the table, they ... Written by Anonymous

Hundreds of episodes from the seventies and early-'80s were destroyed due to TVE's policy of erasing archive tapes to re-use them and save money, a practice that was maintained, in the case of "Un, dos, tres", until 1986.

From the first season, which had 54 episodes, only three of them, Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: El terror (1972), Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: El mundo de los toros (1973) and Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: El circo (1973) have survived the wiping in their complete form. From the second season, which had 83 episodes, only four have survived in their complete form, Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: Las mil y una noches (1976), Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: Las zarzuelas (1976), Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: La piratería (1976) and Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: El mundo infantil (1977). 30 out of 84 episodes survive from the third season, and only 4 out of 26 from the fourth season.

The fifth season is when the purge was stopped, with the first 14 episodes from that season being erased. From the 15th episode of the fifth season onward, all the episodes remain intact in the archives. Apart from that, fragments of other episodes have been found, the oldest one a fragment containing the final 12 minutes from Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez: Episode #1.4 (1972), and there are also some tapes containing raw fragments from the original making of some lost episodes as well as some known VHS, Betamax or Video 2000 recordings of lost episodes in the hands of private individuals.

In March 2019, TVE ended publishing in their official web page all the episodes they keep in their archive vaults. Only 185 episodes out of the 413 that were made have been published. See more »

In the Botilde season, the intro has many moments where Botilde's lips are out of sync with the song, and other moments where the lips movement doesn't match the lyrics of the song at all. See more »

Un,dos, tres... now cultural, but still wonderful
6 March 2004 | by manbemelSee all my reviews

After having watched nine of the thirteen programs of this new season of "Un dos tres..." The difference with the nine previous seasons is that now each program is dedicated to a different book of the greatest literature, encouraging spanish people to read a little bit more.

The extra cultural purpose is done magnificently, as usual, because if in the past we could learn about the French Revolution or about the Classic Rome, now we are learning about Arthur Conan Doyle, or H.G. Wells, or Bram Stoker, or Jules Verne, and so on. It's a pitty this season is only thirteen programs long, because "Un dos tres, a leer esta vez" (translated, "One two three, now it's time to read") deserves the same success as the old "Un dos tres responda otra vez" of the seventies, eighties and nineties.
