The inexperienced documentary maker Alfredo Locane gets the opportunity of his life when he is invited to interview Maury Kubrick. Maury is the younger brother of the famous director Stanley Kubrick and he is about to publish his memoirs. Maury is a strange person however. He breaks down every minute and gets strange phone calls about being fired. His story seems interesting though, he tells about his fishing trips with Stanley and the one time he saved Neil Diamond from drowning. But the film crew gets suspicious and starts searching for the real truth. Is Maury really who he tells he is? Written by Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)

Leddy and his co-star Maury (the inimitably talented Mark Dabney Robinson) exude a rare chemistry in short films that deal in parody: they are by turns both funny and pitiful. it's hard to decide who needs who more. my only question: what is next for this marvelous duo? and why haven't we seen more of Mr. Leddy's comic writing gift on the big screen? Mr. Lewallen's cinematography, on what was presumptively a shoestring budget, complements this pseudo-documentary riff wonderfully, making it seamlessly complete.
