Forty Years On Coronation Street
4 March 2001 | by Mark JonesSee all my reviews

Forty year of Coronation Street was the first life episode I had ever seen. It wasn't the first ever life episode, no because the first episode was life, the first live episode was in 1960 which was the first episode. Unlike the first episode, it was on for an hour, the first episode was only on for half an hour.

There was one well known person in it and that was Noddy Holder(lead singer of the 1970 band Slade). But the only person who had been in both live episode that was, William Roach (Ken Barlow).

The episode was really to mark that coronation street has been go for 40 years and still going as strong as ever.
