The days pass slowly for Lia amid the vineyards of a rural Georgian village. Still in the prime of life, her beauty is overlooked even by her husband Sandro, who runs the local car repair shop. Things change when Megi, the comely star of a film being shot nearby, happens upon the scene to get her car repaired. Lia knows a rival when she sees one - although she's also aware she doesn't stand a chance against a mini-skirt. Megi, however, has a few tricks up her sleeve too - she knows what a Cinderella needs to rid herself of the pumpkin.Written by
First Georgian movie, featuring nude female body. That's all.
The movie plot is simple & old: Undiscovered beauty resides in village, but accident helps her to "reveal" her "beauty".
This is first Georgian movie, featuring nude female body and some sexual activity. To help understanding how important above is, I'll say, that there was no nudity in Georgian movie ever. This is first movie. So most local reviews are around that fact, leaving other movie characteristics aside.
The movie itself is not a piece of high artwork, it features some local jokes and typos. Anyways, it worths watching if you're interested in village life of modern Georgia.
Little trivia: Crew was unable to find Georgian actress who will undress in front of camera, so they invited Georgian-born, but US Citizen Ia Farulava for main role.
