  • Variety
The world of Harvey Birdman is expanding.

Adult Swim has given a series order to “Birdgirl,” a spinoff of “Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law” with Paget Brewster set to lend her voice to the title character. Through the halls of the company headquarters she assembles her Birdteam. By day, they try to drag the company into this century. But in a newly released short film, the actors hint that they might be something more. In addition to appearing in 13 Reasons Why together, they also share the screen in Home Movies, a short film directed by Kevin Rios. The film created buzz at Outfest's Fusion Film Festival, which aims to promote work focused on Lgbt issues and people of color. In the emotional clip, Miles and Brandon share a tender kiss as men talk about their coming-out experiences.
