Best Clapton Video!
29 April 2001 | by GrantCAGESee all my reviews

This is definitely the best Eric Clapton concert video. Most of the popular stuff is here including great versions of 'Wonderful Tonight', 'Old Love', 'Bad Love' etc. The selected songs performed on this video are from different concerts that Eric did over 24 nights, each selection of songs focus on different musical styles of Clapton's career. My personal favourite is 'The Blues Nights' and the three songs 'Watch Yourself', the brilliant 'Have You Ever Loved A woman' and 'Worried Life Blues'. After the rootsy blues nights he performs some of his most popular and memorable musical work that fans will thoroughly enjoy. Obviously Clapton's playing is superb throughout the video, plucking out more classic blues/rock guitar solos out of his Fender Stratocaster that still seem to sound exciting and fresh. So all-in-all I'd say that this video has everything a fan would like about Eric Clapton because of the different musical styles and brilliantly listenable songs. A satisfied 'thumbs-up' then!
