In this adaption of Robert Heinlein's novel, we follow the adventures of a squad of troops as they fight in a war of survival against merciless alien invaders. Facing constant danger, they are the ones who have to do the thankless task of facing the enemy head on, and for the sake of humanity, they must prevail.

Did You Know?
This series gave Dizzy Flores an actual name. In the novel, Flores was a male, and a very minor character. He was referred to as "Dizzy" several times during his one scene, and it is unclear as to whether that was his name or a nickname. In the 1997 Starship Troopers movie, he was turned into a female love interest, though it is still never clearly stated as to whether or not "Dizzy" is her legal name. On the Roughnecks series, one of the writers just decided to give Isabel as the legal first name, hence "Isabel 'Dizzy' Flores." See more

Rico, when we get back to the Valley Forge, do me one big favor. Go back to being a jerk. I like you better that way.
