Storyline

In this loose adaptation of Dimitris Bogris's melodramatic theatrical play named "The Girl of the Harbour", Anna--the young, kind, and romantic daughter of a struggling couple of tavern keepers--finds herself torn between two men. Before a decent but poor man who promises eternal love, and a seductive mariner who cherishes his freedom, Anna will get carried away by the tempestuous feeling of desire. However, this is an unbearable burden for a delicate dreamer--and, inevitably--Anna will soon be forced to make a difficult decision. Will things ever be the same again? Written by Nick Riganas
