Production on this film began in 1989, the same time that Disney began work on The Lion King
(1994). When this film was released 3 years later, Disney sent the film studio a cease and desist letter, claiming that this film infringed on their copyright, even though this film is actually based on Kimba the White Lion

Earth Mother, is there a problem on the mountain?
