Storyline

Ted Hiller is a sensible, normal, family man while his best friend, Neil Diller is the absolute opposite, slick, unstable, and sarcastic. As the theme song goes, together they write a TV show, a popular sitcom. Most of the time they just goof off, hoping to get an idea for the next episode. But Gordon, the producer, always wanders around to control them, although he is the one who is constantly losing control. Written by Steve Richer <sricher@sympatico.ca>

Great Show
15 June 2005 | by BSolar-1See all my reviews

One of the most underrated shows ever. Kevin Nealon is a genius. I wish this show lasted longer. Although the chemistry between Kevin Nealon and Richard Lewis was forced, it was quite apparent that Kevin Nealon carried the show. Had somebody other than Richard Lewis been opposite of Kevin Nealon this show could have been great. Actually the writing was quite terrible, but Kevin Nealon carried it as long as he could. The show was about two terrible writers. Had the writers not just done an autobiography on themselves, the show could have survived. Oh well, just like ABC to pull the plug on a great show. Full House, Sports Night, Hiller and Diller. Yet they give us such quality as What about Joan?
