The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Throughout the movie, a few people become infected and transform into tentacled monsters. An old lady is seen transformed into a tentacled monster, cutting her husband into pieces. We hear the old man screaming in pain and we briefly see one of his legs being amputated. In another scene, a woman is seen behind a door; we see the shadow of her body behind the closed door as well as shadows of big tentacles moving, then we see smaller tentacles under the door, before they hide inside the woman's body. The woman opens the door, her appearance is normal but we know she is possessed. She throws a man out of the room and he runs away.
  • A few people go insane after reading a horror book; their eyes drip blood and their behavior is extremely violent. The radio speaks about the recent outbreak of violence due to such people. At the end of the movie there are very few people who are still normal, most of humanity has become mad killers.

  • The main theme of profanity in this movie is delivered by a mad writer who claims to be God. His fans are faithful and obsessive believers, and he creates the world as he writes, in any way he wishes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Lots of people go insane after reading a horror book; their eyes bleed and their behaviour is extremely violent.
  • The scenes where infected people transform into tentacular monsters are grisly.
