Trivia

There is a substantial amount of male nudity in this film as with female nudity, probably most notably in the "homoerotic shaving scene" as many fans have come to call it. The reason for this that director Adam Marcus viewed the previous "Friday the 13th" film as somewhat sexist, showing only or primarily female nudity, and thought it more acceptable to show male and female nudity in equal amounts. Alternate Versions

In the original cut of the film Vicki has a boyfriend. Several scenes were cut but a few are shown in the TV Versions. One scene shows Vicki with Jessicas baby at her house and her boyfriend walks in. She explains why the baby's there. Another seen is when Robert(Jason in reality) goes to Vicki's place in search of the baby. Vicki left already to the diner with the baby, so Jason kills Vicki's boyfriend out of frustration. Another seen is an extension of Vicki entering the diner, Vicki walks to the door to see a sign saying that the diner is closed for the day because of Diana's death. These scenes (except for the boyfriends death) can be seen on the DVD in the TV Alternate Scenes section. See more »

Probably not the send-out fans were hoping for but it does take a cool twist
11 November 2004 | by dirtychildSee all my reviews

Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday is (supposedly) the last Friday the 13th chapter... FBI agents hunt down and destroy Jason at Crystal Lake - but Jason has the ability to possess other people's bodies and continues his bloodbath.

I don't think this would be a favourite of the fans - it is quite corny, Jason doesn't feature a lot in the movie... but I think the movie half-way through takes a turn for the better. Instead of being another mindless slasher - the movie goes all John Woo with some cool gun fights and slow motion camera. It was like the director had watched a couple of John Woo films for the first time half-way through shooting the movie and decides... "it would be cool to use this stuff in this movie"!

The "Invasion of the Body Snatcher" plot doesn't work - but I think the stylish gun battles redeem this film somewhat. Sort of recommended!
