Together with Roger Murtaugh, his partner, the three attempt to expose a crooked former policeman and his huge arms racket. Trivia

Goofs

After Riggs shoots Travers in the tractor, the tractor stops as Travers go limp. This wouldn't happen as Travers foot most likely would have slipped off the clutch, allowing the tractor to continue forward. Riggs actually puts Travers foot on the brake pedal (actually the left rear wheel brake pedal) as if it's the gas pedal in a car, causing the tractor to move forward. This would only cause the tractor to spin in a tight left hand circle. See more »

Crazy Credits

During the credits you can hear that another bomb has been discovered. When Martin and Roger show up in their car, they have this discussion again whether or not to go in. Just as they stop at the building, the whole building explodes and you can hear Martin saying, while backing up the car, "I hope nobody saw us". See more »

The USA Director's Cut (Unrated) has about 3-4 minutes of never-before-seen extra footage including the following scenes: Trish forces Roger to wear body armor; Rianne visits Riggs, who's watching the Stooges with Sam and the Rottweiler, at his trailer, to which McGee the carpenter added the sundeck seen in Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) ; Riggs, Murtaugh, and Lorna threaten to run over Tyrone's head with a car if he didn't give up Travis. Keep On Rollin' Out The Sequels!
5 July 2009 | by g-bodylSee all my reviews

The third movie in the Lethal Weapon series is once again a great addition. This film is perhaps the best of the bunch. Maybe the first film is a tad better. As I said for the review of the second Lethal Weapon, the crew knows how to make these successful films.

After a disastrous accident, Riggs and Murtaugh have been stripped of their sergeant status. They are now patrolmen and they only have the power to cite jaywalkers. But things gets out of control when a former cop decides to wreak havoc.

The acting once again is fantastic. Glover, Gibson, and Pesci all had great chemistry. The addition of Rene Russo adds more stardom to the cast.

Richard Donner decided to add more comedy to this action-laden film. Let me be the one to tell you that it works out evenly. There is plenty of action to keep the comedy in check.

Overall, this is the a great piece of work. As people say, the third time is the charm. I rate this film 9/10.
