Trivia

Kevin's homemade booby traps may reflect Chris Columbus' love of James Bond style gadgetry, which cropped up in scripts he wrote for movies like Gremlins (1984), The Goonies (1985), and Young Sherlock Holmes (1985), all for Steven Spielberg, who's also a James Bond fan. See more »

Goofs

Even though Kevin tricked the hotel staff into thinking the mafia boss was his father he leaves the film running meaning that if the staff heard anymore of the video they would had discovered they were tricked. See more »

A great holiday classic where Kevin is a bit older but still always watch it every Christmas.
