Terry Crews Confirmed as X-Force Mutant Bedlam in Deadpool 2

Terry Crews Confirmed as X-Force Mutant Bedlam in Deadpool 2
After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that Terry Crews is playing Bedlam in Deadpool 2. Crews was featured in a blink-and-you-miss-it scene in the first trailer, which first led to speculation as to whether it was really him or not, and then led to questions of who he could be playing. The actor and the production remained silent during speculation and has still not said a word, but the new trailer for Deadpool 2 has all of the confirmation that we need, pinning Terry Crews to X-Force member Bedlam.

While Terry Crews is given a little bit more screen time in the new Deadpool 2 clip, he's still barely seen. However, upon closer inspection, the coloring of his suit matches those of Bedlam from the comics. But that's not the confirmation that was needed. Instead, we see a quick clip of Deadpool flipping through pictures for possible X-Force candidates,

Deadpool 2 Features Pennywise Actor as a Member of X-Force?

Deadpool 2 Features Pennywise Actor as a Member of X-Force?
The trailer for Deadpool 2 was finally released earlier this week and a new rumor suggests that It actor Bill Skarsgard might be one of the new mutants shown during the quick flash of Deadpool and Domino getting ready to jump out of the helicopter. One of the actors that people spotted easily was Terry Crews standing next to Deadpool in the brief clip, but the hunt has been on to figure out who the rest of the mutants are in the shot. Could one of the new mutants be Pennywise actor Bill Skarsg&#229rd?

It's not sure exactly what we're looking at in the scene, it might be X-Force or Six Pack. Both are equally plausible since the X-Force movie is currently in pre-production and the Six Pack has connections to Zazie Beetz's Domino character. Whichever it is, a new rumor suggests that one of the mutants with his

Does It Star Bill Skarsgård Have A Role In Deadpool 2?

There’s a lot to unpack in that great Deadpool 2 trailer that dropped this week (including a hilarious jab at Justice League‘s moustache woes). One of the most intriguing things, though, is trying to work out what’s going with the Merc’s new team.

It’s safe to say that no one was expecting Terry Crews to pop up in the film, but speculation has been building about who the other mutants were in the background. Rumors are swirling that they’re an early version of what will become the X-Force, probably containing some members of the ‘Six Pack’ group affiliated with Deadpool and Cable.

Now, Omega Undergound thinks they’ve figured out who at least one of the members is – Bill Skarsgård (see screenshot below). Yup, Pennywise himself. This isn’t a name plucked from the blue – the case is that Skarsgård has just worked with Deadpool

11 underappreciated graphic novels

We asked our writers to recommend graphic novels that deserved more fanfare, and here's what they chose...

Geek tastes running tall and wide, when we asked our writers to recommend favourite books that they felt hadn't received the levels of popularity or public recognition they deserved, in came a heap of suggestions. Too many for one piece, hence us dividing the entries into four separate lists: adult sci-fi, fantasy and horror fiction; graphic novels; children's/Ya fiction; and non-fiction.

We'll let you use the power of your eyeballs to see which one of those lists you're currently reading. And in the spirit of the piece, hope you'll join in by providing your own suggestions to keep the recommendations coming in the comments section. Sharing: it's what makes geek communities great.

Review: 'The Americans' - 'The Deal'

Review: 'The Americans' - 'The Deal'
A review of tonight's "The Americans" coming up just as soon as I'm the Kenny Rogers of Haifa... "You're a monster! You're not a man! Whatever you once were, whoever you were, they trained it out of you! No feeling, no humanity, you may as well be dead!" -Anton "The Deal" is an installment of "The Americans" where the whole isn't as strong as the sum of the individual parts, because even though the parts are mostly terrific, there are too many of them. FX has given this show, like many of its dramas, the freedom to come in long when the creative team needs the extra time, but in this case I would say being forced to hit a rigid time would have been useful. So much of what's strong about the episode comes from the tension of the ticking clock on Philip's situation, where there's only so long

Film Mom: They Don’t Make PG Movies Like They Used To!

  • Fandango
The only new wide releases this past weekend were rated R but on May 1, Cinemark Theaters will show a PG classic: The Graduate. Yep, the "Mrs. Robinson, are you trying to seduce me?" flick received the rating that parents today read as “okay for 8-year-olds.” Of course PG-13 didn’t exist in 1967, but today’s sex comedies almost universally receive an R. It seems hard to believe, but movies are more responsible these days. To realize this, simply rewatch a movie from your childhood. When the 1982 Kenny Rogers PG-rated “family film” Six Pack aired on TCM, my fond memories led me to share it with my tween, only to realize those kids could teach sailors some new words. In 1984 Footloose also received a PG, in which cool kids smoke cigarettes...

Morning Meme: Dan Savage Calls Out Rick Santorum, "Glee" Needs Robots, and Tom Felton Talks Slashfic

Matthew Mitcham won't have time to rest after the 2012 Olympics, because he's just been named an ambassador, along with speed skater Blake Skjellerup, to the 2014 Out Games, which will be held in Akron and Cleveland. Oddly, I think geographically, I'm the closest AfterElton.com editor to cover the games. Just putting that idea out there.

The Simpsons are going to do a Dexter skit for the new Tree House of Horror. Guess who the killer is played by? Stupid bloody Flanders.

If the National Organization for Marriage isn't a religious organization, why are they defining their mission by quoting Genesis? What's even scarier is that they think they can control the entire country with a fanatical 10% of the population.

What makes a car gay? According to the author of this piece, evidently having $80k to drop on a BMW works. When I lived in DuPont Circle, all the boys drove Vw Jettas,

The Other 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time

  • HeyUGuys
Back in summer 2010, we posted the ‘100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time‘ which turned out to be our highest hit post ever! Now, the same people have gone back to the drawing back to create the 2011 version called ‘The Other 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time’!

Both videos were created by Harry Hanrahan who has done yet another fantastic job making them. Great to see Hook, Cool Runnings and Coming to America (you sweat from a baboon’s balls!) both making it into this one. We hope you’ll enjoy this one as much as you did the previous!

Thanks to Pajiba for the heads up on this. Below the embed is the list of movies used in this video. Please note this video contains swearing and depending on how fun your boss is, may not be safe for work!

The Other 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time

  • Pajiba
In June 2010, we had the pleasure of debuting Harry Hanrahan's video, "The 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time," which would not only become our biggest post of 2010, but would launch the video toward what is now closing in on 5 million views and counting.

Today, we are debuting the follow-up to that video, "The Other 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time." The video includes lots of quotes that didn't make the cut the first time around, plus scads of omissions that were raised by commenters here and around the Internet.

It's not as vicious as the first video, but it is more playful, and nearly as rife with profanity, so it's not safe for work, unless your employers have a sense of humor, in which case, call them over before you watch.

Enjoy, you long streaks of paralyzed piss. You smell like a burger.

For a complete list of Harry Hanrahan's videos,

Maternity clothing options have improved greatly in the past few years. But workout wear seems to be the one area that’s lacking.

Jersey Shore Top Ten Catchphrase Countdown: Give The Cat A Meatball

When all is said and done, history will not look back fondly at the second season of Jersey Shore. The lovable group of scamps that we were first introduced to last year as they summered on the beaches of Sleazeside Heights, blissfully unaware of the mega-celebrities that they would become, are gone. Yes, their corporeal forms remain the same, but their personalities have shifted in significant ways since the halcyon days of Summer 2009 when the show’s first season has taped. And really, that’s what drew people into the show in the first place, the outgoing and unique personalities of the show’s main core of characters: The Situation, DJ Pauly D, Snooki and, to a lesser extent, the rest of them. While we don’t blame MTV for getting the band back together again in February of 2010 to begin filming the M.I.A. season — gotta strike while the iron is hot!

Get Taylor Lautner’s Washboard Abs

By Dr. Bradley Frederick

Hollywoodnews.com:

Getting Taylor Lautner’s washboard abs isn’t far out of reach, according to Jordan Yuam, Lautner’s personal trainer and founder of Jordan’s Virtual Fit Club. To get a cut stomach, you need to eat right, focus on doing the exercises properly and give your body time to recover.

Eat With Your Abs In Mind

“Eating is 90% of getting the abs to come in,” says Yuam. Its true no matter how strong or defined the muscles are, if they are covered by a layer of fat no high intensity training program alone will work. To get a lean muscle mass, you must put down the cheeseburgers and alcohol, stay away from processed foods and try substituting green tea for your coffee.

Recently on Oprah, Dr Perricone stated “if you just replaced coffee with green tea, you could lose 10 pounds in six weeks.

Cinematical Late Night: Cinderella, Six Pack, Twilight: Eclipse 8-Bit Game
[/link] personify both Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella? She's been cast as the former for a while, and now she's rumored to be starring in a live-action version of the latter for Disney, based on the studio's animated classic. The redo comes via screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada) and will likely be in 3D with plenty of CGI mice and birds. Bippidy-Boppidy-Boo-Hoo. [via The Playlist]

- Maybe love will turn me around, but I'm having trouble accepting Kevin James in the Kenny Rogers role for Fox's Six Pack remake. Pajiba reports that he's been offered the part, leading me to assume racing star Brewster Baker will no longer be the kind of ladies man he was back in '82. Also, now at the helm, replacing David Gordon Green, is Marmaduke's Tom Dey. I guess I just hope the eventual redo of The Beniker Gang will make amends.

Kevin James Could Take On A 'Six Pack'

We always need a film that involves an out-of-luck race car driver that turns his life around with the help of six zany kids. Let's put some wonderful icing on that cake with the possibility of Kevin James taking on the lead role in the remake of the 1982 family friendly film "Six Pack". The original starred country singer Kenny Rogers as the race car driver with a cast that included Diane Lane and Anthony Michael Hall. The actor is better known for his film roles like "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" which even to this day I still don't understand how that movie made so much money. He starred in the sitcom "The King of Queens" and continues to latch himself onto yawn-worthy projects ever since then. If you want to see him at work, check him out alongside Adam Sandler in "Grown Ups", out in theaters right now.Source: Pajiba

Kevin James Offered Role In Six Pack Remake

Did you see Grown Ups? Does it make you wonder how Kevin James is still getting movie offers? I.ll tell you the reason. Because once a guy is recognizable, and takes roles in terrible movies that somehow put butts in the seats, that.s literally all that matters when filmmakers start casting. Nothing else even comes close. Was Kevin James once a funny comedian? I guess. But his movie resume reads like a rundown from the local dump. He might be getting ready to add another one to his list that already includes cinematic wonders lie Paul Blart: Mall Cop and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. Pajiba is reporting James has been offered a role in the remake of the 1982 comedy Six Pack, originally starring Kenny Rogers and Diane Lane. Six Pack focuses on Nascar driver, Brewster Baker, who befriends a group of car-stealing orphans. They are
