Wayland Flowers' diva Madame (a retirement age ventriloquist character who all ways spoke her/his mind while wearing fabulously over the top jewel and feather accented designer original gowns) starred as herself. Similar to "The Larry Sanders Show" (1992), the meat of each episode was in the backstage areas of her life. The primary cast included her three person staff, and a pre-teen Corey Feldman as the latch key neighbor kid who spent most of his days hanging around Madame's house. Most episodes dealt with standard sitcom style dilemmas in Madame's career or home life, peppered with Flower/Madame's biting one liners.
